Bernard "Bernie" Dawson, age 82, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home.

No services are being planned.

Mr. Dawson was born in Donalsonville, GA, on July 3, 1941, to Oscar and Bessie Mae Turner Dawson. He loved to play bingo and checkers and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his nieces, Judy Tallichet (Wilburn Covington) and Kathy Oakley (Chip).

Bernie was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Dawson and Bessie Mae Turner Dawson Baker; his stepfather, Junior Baker; his siblings, Pat Ferguson and Hewey Dawson; nephews, Kenneth Wessinger and Maurice Wessinger, and niece, Ellen Varnum.
