Aubrey Eugene Willis

Aubrey Eugene Willis, age 88, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Willis will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery with Ronnie Shiver, Dennis O’Hearn, Tommy Lashley, Bill Barrineau, Robert Thompson and James Thompson serving as casketbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Mr. Willis was born in Miller County, GA on January 15, 1931 to Robert Edgar Willis and Beulah Harrell Willis. Mr. Willis served in the United States Army and worked as a farmer. He is survived by his brothers, Harrell Willis (Linda) of Donalsonville, GA, Cooper Forrest of Panama City, FL; his sister, June Lashley of Bainbridge, GA; his grandsons, Lee Smith and Billy Smith. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Mr. Willis was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn Virginia Hughes Willis; his sisters, Margaret Stewart, Mozelle Anglin, and Patricia Willis McLendon; and his brothers, Robert Forrest, Wayne Forrest, and Thomas Ray “Buck” Willis.
