ALICIA ANN CLOUD SHEFFIELD

Alicia Ann Cloud Sheffield, age 55, of Iron City, GA passed away Friday evening, Nov. 29, 2019 at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Sheffield will be held on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Southwest Baptist Church in Bainbridge, GA with Rev. Stanley Phillips and Rev. Robert Johns officiating.  Interment will follow in Scarborough Cemetery in Colquitt, GA with Trey Trawick, Kent Croom, Shane Trawick, Gregory Calhoun, Dee Miller, and Troupe Tabb serving as active casketbearers.  Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 1, 2019 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home from 4:00-6:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions in Alicia’s name be made to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta 3395 Northeast Expressway Suite 100 Atlanta, GA 30341. Mrs. Sheffield was born in Bainbridge, GA on April 28, 1964 to John Cloud and Delores Trawick Cloud.  She graduated Bainbridge Christian School and received her LPN from Bainbridge College and her RN from Darton College.  Alicia was a member of Southwest Baptist Church in Bainbridge, GA and truly loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  She was truly at her happiest delivering babies and working along side of her husband and children on the farm.  Alicia could drive a tractor and haul peanuts with the best of them!  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Troy Sheffield of Iron City, GA; her children, Kyle Sheffield and Ashley of Iron City, GA and Drew Sheffield and Anslee of Iron City, GA; her granddaughter, Harper Sheffield; her sister, Denise Laing and Ricki of Bainbridge, GA; her niece, Jessica Dyson and Donnie of Brinson, GA; and her nephew, Will Laing of Bainbridge, GA.  Alicia is also survived by her faithful and devoted friend, Amy Trawick and Trey as well as her father-in-law, Bobby Sheffield of Colquitt, GA and her mother, Delores Trawick Cloud of Bainbridge, GA. Mrs. Sheffield was preceded in death by her father, John Cloud; her mother-in-law, Brenda Sheffield; her maternal grandparents, Tom and Clyde Trawick; and her paternal grandparents, Jessie and Jo Cloud.
