AGNES L. BODIFORD KENNEDY

June 26, 1932 — September 8, 2021

Agnes Louise Bodiford Kennedy, age 89, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday evening, Sept. 8, 2021 at Great Gran’s Personal Care Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Kennedy will be held on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Donalsonville Church of God with Rev. James Scarborough and Wilton Albritton officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the church. Mrs. Kennedy was born on June 26, 1932 in Donalsonville, GA to Girlie Easom Bodiford and Reason Bodiford. She married Harvie D Kennedy and they lived in Port St. Joe, FL where she worked for a number of years as a telephone operator for St. Joe Telephone and Telegraph. Homemaker, loving mother of two, assistant beekeeper and farmer were all in her job description in addition to telephone operator. She was a Godly woman who loved her family, friends, and church. Mrs. Kennedy was a faithful member of the Donalsonville Church of God. She loved her Sunday School class and enjoyed joining in any fun discussion. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Sue Kennedy Vernon and Stan Kennedy and his wife Melody; her grandchildren, Karen Rogerson and her husband Michael Jon, Boone Kennedy and his wife Victoria, and Kimberly Heard and her husband Will; her great grandchildren, Brody and Brayden Rogerson, Brock and Kamryn Kennedy, and Hadley Heard; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her parents, Girlie Easom Bodiford and Reason Bodiford; her husband, Harvie D Kennedy; her siblings; and her son-in-law, Connor Vernon.
