We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Euva Averett, age 83, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away at the Donalsonville Hospital on March 12, 2007. Funeral services for Mrs. Averett will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Dr. Ron McCaskill and Rev. Gerald Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, prior to the service. You may share your thoughts with the family by visiting our website at www.evansskipperfh.com. Mrs. Averett was born in Early Co., GA on Nov. 12, 1923 to the late Joe K. and Rannie Williams Easom. She and her husband Allious Averett had been married for 60 years. She was a master cosmotologist in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia and a member of Jakin Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Allious Averett of Donalsonville, GA, a brother-in-law, Robert Forrest and three sisters-in-law, Lois G. Easom and Jewel M. Easom both of Donalsonville and Justine P. McKenzie of Keystone, FL, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe K. and Rannie Williams Easom; three brothers, Buddy Easom, Jack Easom, and Wallace Easom; and three sisters, Lois Easom Williams, Evelene Easom Ross, and Lillian Easom Forrest Pallbearers will be Jeff Nunnery, Matt Nunnery, Hewett Nunnery, Todd Pearce, Lyle Taylor and John Taylor. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Florida or Georgia Baptist Children's Home or to a charity of your choice. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
