LUCILLE MARION LAWRENCE HARDWICK

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Lucille Marion Lawrence Hardwick, age 90, who passed away on February 26, 2007 at her residence in Donalsonville, GA. Funeral services for Mrs. Hardwick will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2007, at 11:00 AM, at Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home in Quitman Ga. with Rev. Jim Hardwick officiating. A visitation will be held there from 10:00-11:00 AM on Thursday, March 1, 2007. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Hardwick was born on February 19, 1917 in Marion County GA to the late Cager Britt Lawrence and Lou Della Cook Lawrence . She worked with Trailways as a Bus Agent and was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband of 69 years, Morgan Wilson "Doc" Hardwick, one son, Rev. Ellis and Marilee Hardwick and one daughter, Virginia and Jack Herring, all of Donalsonville, GA. Eight grandchildren. Melissa and Mike Korzekwa, Melinda and Bill Wynn, Melitta Seltzer, Clay and Janet Barber, Sharon Barkley, Dee Barber and her fiancé Todd Holland, Dr. Davey and Brenda Herring and Jon Herring and his fiancée Jonnie Beck. She was preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers, Horace Lawrence, Arthur G. Lawrence, Homer Lawrence, Preston Lawrence, Hoke Lawrence, Cager Britt Lawrence, Whit Lawrence, Johnny Lawrence, Clyde B. Lawrence and Cecil D. Lawrence and five sisters Claudia Lawrence Ryles, Blanch Lawrence Webb, Eula Lawrence Ellis, Margie Lawrence Gay and Willie Pearl Lawrence. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Gay, Bill Hughes, Cecil Lawrence, Ross Lawrence, Bailey Wynn and Britt Wynn. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
