We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Dorothy Jeanette Goodson, age 87, who passed away at the Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA on February 26, 2007. Graveside services for Mrs. Goodson will be held at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Friendship Memorial Gardens with Rev. Charles Barineau officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Freeman and Bessie Ann Fowler Freeman. She was married to the late Paul Douglas Goodson, was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville. She had been a resident of Donalsonville for the past 50 years. Mrs. Goodson leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Mary Ann and William Arden Parker of Donalsonville, GA and Joan and Larry Clarke of Senoia, GA. Five grandchildren, Doug and Debbie Parker, Ritchie and Mary Parker, Dee Dee and Andy Pollard, Donna and Mike Pollard, and Mike and April Clarke and nine great grandchildren, Mallory Parker, Madison Parker, Shane Pollard, Tyler Pollard, Meghan Clarke, Michael Clarke, Tiffany Stuart, Brandon Lane and Joseph Easom also survive. Pallbearers will be Charles Musgrove, Butch Hornsby, John Emory Trawick, Emory Courson, Don Swanner and Ashley Register. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
