We regret to announce the passing of Dorothy Brunson Parker, age 96, of Donalsonville who passed away Friday, February 9, 2007 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 11, 2007 at 3:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Morgan Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held Sunday one hour before the service at 2:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church. She was married to A. A. Parker who preceded her in death in December 1967. Mrs. Parker was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Donalsonville and a homemaker. She was very active in church work by serving as chairman of committees, teaching and singing in the choir. She helped organize the Rocky Ridge Presbyterian Church where she taught an adult class and directed Vacation Bible School. She is survived by William Arden Parker and his wife Mary Ann of Donalsonville, GA and Dorothy Ann Trawick and her husband John Emory of Iron City, GA; one brother, Joe Brunson and his wife Pell of Panama City, FL. Four grandchildren, Doug Parker, Ritchie Parker, Art Trawick and Sha Trawick Maddox, as well as seven great-grandchildren, Mallory Parker, Madison Parker, Jack Maddox, Denver Maddox, Tiffany Stuart, Brandon Lane and Joseph Easom also survive. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.A. Parker; one brother, Aubrey Brunson and one sister, Annie Lee (Sue) Fain. Pallbearers will be Clarke Fain, David Fain, Billy Fain, Carl Fain, Joey Brunson and Randy Brunson. Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made to First Presbyterian Church P.O.
