Bruce Easom

We regret to announce the passing of Jimmie Bruce Easom, age 62, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Tuesday morning, January 16, 2007 at his residence. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 4:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Mr. Easom was born in Donalsonville on June 16, 1944 to Justine Parker and the late Jack Easom. He entered the US Army in 1967, serving almost 3 years, where he received several medals during the Vietnam war. He sold insurance and was a truck driver for many years and also a member of the Nazarene Church. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Julia Ann Easom of Donalsonville; his mother Justine P. McKenzie of Keystone, FL; a son, Larry Easom and his wife Jessica of Hinesville, GA; two daughters, Kathy Nobles and her husband Kevin of Tabor City, NC; Kim Kelley and her husband Casey of Donalsonville; a sister, LeAnn Seay and her husband Paul of Melrose, FL. Nine grandchildren Heather, Kaitlyn, Brantley, Kenna, Kerra, Jonathan, Brinlee, Rilee and Rilynn also survive. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Joe Easom and Jerry Easom. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to Wiregrass Hospice 432 E. Shotwell St. Bainbridge, GA 39817 or Seminole County Public Library 103 W. 4th St. Donalsonville, GA 39845. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
