PAT BURKE

We regret to announce the passing of Pat Burke, age 78, of Donalsonville who passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at her residence. Graveside services for Mrs. Burke will be held on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 28, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville with Dr. Raymond Guterman officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 -2:30 PM on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Burke was born in Rome, GA on October 20, 1928 to the late Clarence Raymond and Bessie Boozer Barton. She worked for many years as the payroll clerk/bookkeeper for the Seminole County Board of Education from which she retired in 1998. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Pierce-Webb Circle and served on the Parsonage Committee. Mrs. Burke leaves to cherish her memory, four sons, Steve Burke and Carol, Bill Burke and Dona, both of Donalsonville, GA, Dr. Dean Burke and Thea of Bainbridge, GA, and Ronnie Burke and Susan of Donalsonville, GA; one daughter, Dr. Karen Burke Hill and Jimmie of Bainbridge, GA; nine grandchildren,Dallas Burke, Jeff Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Will Burke, Analee Burke, Lauren Burke, Kenneth Burke, Molly Burke, Adam Burke and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, D.L. "Muggs" Burke. Mrs. Burke's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. They are Dallas Burke, Andrew Wilson, Jeff Wilson, Will Burke, Adam Burke, and Kenneth Burke.
