FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. TRAWICK WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 26, 2006 AT 11:00 AM AT FRIENDSHIP UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN DONALSONVILLE, GA WITH THE REV. KEITH GOODLETT OFFICIATING. INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW IN OLIVE GROVE/ROCK POND PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY IN IRON CITY, GA. VISITATION WILL BE HELD FROM 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM ON TUESDAY MORNING AT THE CHURCH. TRAWICK WAS BORN ON DEC. 22, 1911 IN SEMINOLE COUNTY, GA TO THE LATE GEORGE THOMAS AND NAOMI PICKREN HENRY. SHE WAS MARRIED TO THE LATE GEORGE TRAWICK, WHO PRECEDED HER IN DEATH IN 1985. MRS. TRAWICK WAS A HOMEMAKER AND MEMBER OF FRIENDSHIP UNITED METHODIST CHURCH WHERE SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE ADDIE BRIGHAM SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS. SHE ALSO TAUGHT A SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS THERE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. MRS. TRAWICK WAS ALSO A MEMBER OF THE DONALSONVILLE GARDEN CLUB IN WHICH SHE HELD VARIOUS OFFICES OVER THE YEARS. SHE HAD BEEN NAMED A LIFETIME MEMBER OF THE GARDEN CLUB. MRS. TRAWICK LEAVES TO CHERISH HER MEMORY A DAUGHTER, JEAN T. McKEMIE OF COLEMAN, GA; TWO GRANDCHILDREN, GEORGE RAY McKEMIE AND HIS WIFE NANCY OF PELHAM, GA AND ROSEMARIE McKEMIE KOLKER AND HER HUSBAND ROGER OF ROCHESTER, NEW YORK; THREE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, REBECCA JANE McKEMIE OF PELHAM, GA, AND KATHRYN KOLKER AND ROGER RUSSELL KOLKER, III BOTH OF ROCHESTER, NEW YORK ; A BROTHER, TIMOTHY B. HENRY OF FAYETTVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA AND A SISTER, BESSIE H. HARRELL OF IVANHOE, NORTH CAROLINA. NUMEROUS NIECES AND NEPHEWS ALSO SURVIVE. McKEMIE, III; 6 BROTHERS AND 3 SISTERS. ACTIVE PALLBEARERS WILL BE DR. CHARLES O. WALKER, NEIL RUMBLE, JESSE McLEOD, RONNIE SHINGLER, JOHN EMORY TRAWICK, AND WILL TRAWICK.
