WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF MRS. ANNIE PARKER FAIRCLOTH, AGE 95, OF DONALSONVILLE, GA WHO PASSED AWAY THURSDAY EVENING, DEC. 21, 2006 AT DONALSONVILLE HOSPITAL. FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. FAIRCLOTH WILL BE SATURDAY MORNING DECEMBER 23, 2006 FROM THE CHAPEL OF EVANS-SKIPPER FUNERAL HOME AT 11:00 AM. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE FUNERAL SERVICE. REV. LUTHER HASTEY WILL OFFICIATE AND EVANS-SKIPPER FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS. MRS. FAIRCLOTH WAS BORN ON JULY 13, 1911 IN DECATUR COUNTY TO THE LATE MATT AND JULIA BRUNSON PARKER. SHE WAS MARRIED TO THE LATE THOMAS HELTON FAIRCLOTH. MRS. FAIRCLOTH WAS A HOMEMAKER AND MEMBER OF SALEM-SEMINOLE BAPTIST CHURCH. NOT ONLY WAS SHE A HOMEMAKER, BUT AT ONE TIME OWNED AND OPERATED FAIRCLOTH GROCERY, WESTERN AUTO, AND THE FORD DEALERSHIP IN SEMINOLE COUNTY. SHE ALSO FINISHED OUT MR. FAIRCLOTH'S TERM AS TAX COLLECTOR AFTER HIS DEATH. MRS. FAIRCLOTH LEAVES TO CHERISH HER MEMORY, A DAUGHTER, GWEN ADAMS OF DONALSONVILLE, GA; A SON, GRADY FAIRCLOTH OF COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA; A SISTER, PATTIE PARKER BULLOCK; 17 GRANDCHILDREN; 30 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; AND 8 GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS; A DAUGHTER, VERLA FAIRCLOTH ARMSTRONG; TWO SONS; RAY FAIRCLOTH AND TOM FAIRCLOTH; TWO SISTERS AND SIX BROTHERS. PALLBEARERS WILL BE TOMMY FAIRCLOTH, AL FAIRCLOTH, JOHN BOY ADAMS, STEVE ODOM, SCOTT MILLER, DAVID HALL, BRINSON REGISTER, AND STEVE PARKER. EVANS-SKIPPER FUNERAL HOME HAS BEEN ENTRUSTED WITH THE ARRANGEMENTS.
