HUGH C. TEDDER

We regret to announce the passing of Hugh C. "Junior" Tedder, age 80, of Donalsonville who passed away Tuesday December 12, 2006 at the Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday morning, December 15, 2006 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Donalsonville with Dr. Ron McCaskill officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 14, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Tedder was born in Sarasota, FL on August 19, 1926 to the late Hugh Clarence, Sr. and Anna Elizabeth Cobb Tedder. He was a successful farmer, as well as a member of First Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon and a former Sunday School teacher. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Katie J. Tedder of Donalsonville, GA; two sons, Redgie Tedder of Tallahassee, FL and Robin and Cathy Tedder of Perry, GA; one daughter, Lorna Tedder of Niceville, FL; one brother, Mac and Orita Tedder of Jakin, GA; and one sister, Jean Mosely of Donalsonville, GA. Five grandchildren, Kevin Tedder, Amanda T. Allen, Justus Tedder, Shannon Bailey and Aislinn Bailey; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Gaynor Tedder and one sister, Betty Evans. Pallbearers will be Tommy Newberry, Rob Blackburn, Sr., Rob Blackburn, Jr., Ryan Blackburn, Keith Bowen and Reese Tedder. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
