ARIZONA PARRISH

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Arizona Oliver Parrish, age 96, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away December 17, 2010 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mrs. Parrish will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11: 00 AM at Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Wayne Webber and Rev. Donna Sue Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at New Brockton City Cemetery in New Brockton, AL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Parrish was born in Crenshaw County AL on July 13, 1914 to the late Simeon Hull and Onnie Evans Oliver. She was a seamstress and a member of First Baptist Church, New Brockton, AL; a member of New Brockton Senior Citizens Center; worked as a pink lady at Tift Regional; and was a charter member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Enterprise. She is survived by one daughter, Viola P. Nicholson and her husband Maylon of Donalsonville, GA; one sister, Bonnie Oliver Edwards of Enterprise, AL. She is also survived by two grandchildren David Nicholson and Angelita McFeeters and her husband Mike. She was preceded in death by her parents, Simeon Hull and Onnie Evans Oliver; her husband, David Adelbert Parrish and seven siblings. Casketbears will be Ralph Tucker, David Nicholson, Mike McFeeters, Charles Nicholson, John Nicholson and Travis Whitman. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions can be made to Flint River Hospice at 402 N. West St. Bainbridge, GA 39819 or Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church at 2676 Burke Rd.
