Lola Catherine Miller

We regret to announce the passing of Lola Miller, age 83, of Newton, AL formerly of Donalsonvllle, GA who passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. Funeral services will held Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Free officiating. Interment will follow at Olive Grove/Rock Pond Cemetery in Iron City, GA. Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Miller was born in Seminole County on January 10, 1923 to the late Drew Herrington and Rebecca Elizabeth Yawn Miller. She was a homemaker and was married to William Miller who preceded her in death in 1985. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Linda Kay Wallace and her husband Mickey of Newton, AL; Catherine Miller Nolan of Panama City, FL. Four grandchildren Shane W. Wilson, Angela W. Gray, Carla S. Ammons and Zachary W. Nolan. She was also survived by two great grandchildren, Joshua Ammons and Amber Ammons. She was preceded in death by five brothers, C.D. Miller, Eddie Miller, Sr., Harvey Miller, H.E. Miller, Willie Miller and one sister, Lillian Askew. Pallbearers will be Ed Miller, Jr., Troy Sheffield, Donnie Ray Miller, Quinton Miller, Billy Askew, Billy Floyd and Bennie Miller. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
