Hassie Lee Bevis

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Hassie Lee Bevis, age 87, of Bascom, FL who passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at home. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Lovedale Baptist Church in Lovedale, FL with Rev. Jack Howell officiating. She was born in Lovedale, FL on July 23, 1923 to the late Leroy Carvarso and Dosie Hart Olive. She was a homemaker and a member Lovedale Baptist Church. She is survived by two grandchildren, James Lee Bevis and Amy Cripes and her husband Frank of Bascom, FL; one sister Ruby Lee Olive Hunter of Louisiana and one brother Harold Pomeroy Olive of Louisiana. She was preceded in death by parents; Leroy Carvarso Olive and Dosie Hart Olive; her husband, Arthur Hubert Bevis; son, James Arthur Bevis; sister, Estelle D. Wallace; brother, Hamp Carvarso Olive. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
