ROYCE EARL STEWART

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Royce Earl Stewart, age 75, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Sunday morning, Dec. 3, 2006 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mr. Stewart will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. James Scarborough, Rev. Lloyd Clark, and Rev. T.E. (Curtis) Earnest officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville. Mr. Stewart was born in Houston County, Al. on September 28, 1931 to the late Ellis Leroy and Cora Lee Bullock Stewart. He was retired from the United States Air Force, the Donalsonville Fire Dept., and as an electrician. Mr. Stewart was a member of Donalsonville First Assembly of God Church and of the American Legion Post 157. Mr. Stewart leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 51 years, Elinor Sirmons Stewart of Donalsonville, GA; a son, Steve Stewart and his wife Susan of Donalsonville, GA; two daughters, Diane Tindell and her husband Jessie of Donalsonville, GA and Connie Mills and her husband Gene of Ashford, AL; a brother, James Stewart and his wife Dora of Donalsonville, GA; eight grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Leroy and Cora Lee Bullock Stewart and three brothers, Ellis Stewart, Odell Stewart, and Bobby Stewart. Pallbearers will be Johnny Johnson, Travis Brooks, Robert Stewart, Ronnie Stewart, Bill Stewart, and Royce Stewart. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Donalsonville First Assembly of God Church 601 North Tennille Ave. Donalsonville, GA 39845 Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
