HUEY CRITZ HOWARD

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Huey Critz Howard, age 73, of Donalsonville who passed away Wednesday evening, Nov. 15, 2006 at the Donalsonville Hospital Emergency Room. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. Graton Helms officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, Nov. 17, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the chapel. Mr. Howard was born in Seminole County, GA to the late Robert Dawster and Leeola Hanna Howard on Aug. 7, 1933. He served in the United States Army, Air Force, and Navy. He retired from the military after serving for 14 years. He then worked as a radio dispatcher with the Georgia State Patrol Post 14 for 17 years. Mr. Howard was a member of Corinth Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City, GA. Mr. Howard leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Gail Howard of Donalsonville, GA; three sons, Bob Howard and his wife Viola of Brinson, GA, Jeff Howard of Colquitt, GA, and David Helms and his wife April of Bainbridge, GA; two daughters, Ardell Heddington and her husband Craig of Omak, Washington and Audrey Yancey and her husband Doyle of Havana, FL; a sister, Eudelene Thompson of Donalsonville, GA; 6 grandchildren, Amber and Katie Heddington, Madison and Haley Helms, and Ian and Ethan Yancey; and a niece, Kathy Sheffield and her husband Jake of Donalsonville, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Dawster and Leeola Hanna Howard and a brother, Pete Howard. Pallbearers will be Joe Moye, Henry Covington, David Ellis, Jimmy Holt, George Whittaker, Marlon James, Carey Moye and Richard Chaffin. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
