We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Josephine M. Miller, age 70, of Iron City, GA who passed away Wednesday evening, Nov. 15, 2006 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Grove/Rock Pond Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, Nov. 17, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 PM. She was married to D. H. Miller who preceded her in death in September of 2006. Mrs. Miller was employed by the Georgia Industry for the Blind in Bainbridge, GA until her retirement. Mrs. Miller leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Jimmy Miller and his wife Glenda of Colquitt, GA; three daughters, Diane Floyd and her husband Gary of Bainbridge, GA, Brenda Ward and her husband Jim of Tallahassee, FL, and Mary Nalls and her husband Mark of Bainbridge, GA; two sisters, Mary Lee Vaughn of Tallahassee, FL and Lois Chason of Bainbridge, GA; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister Elizabeth Haire. Pallbearers will be Ashby Floyd, Duane Floyd, Brandon Ward, Carson Nalls, Joey Miller and Chuck Miller. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home of Donalsonville, GA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
