We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Ronald Keith Medley, age 54, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at 3:00 PM at Seminole County High School Football Field in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Johnny Taylor and Rev. Herman Enfinger officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held Monday, October 11, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville. Mr. Medley was born in Donalsonville, GA on September 10, 1956 to Alice Hicks Medley and the late Coy Medley. He was a member of Oakview Church of God and worked at Seminole County Training Center in the recycling area, as well as farmed with his father. Keith had always been a lover of any sports but especially Seminole County sports. He loved to watch the children of this community excel in their sporting endeavors. Keith could always be found at the new Seminole County Recreation Complex doing whatever he could to help out. He spent a great deal of time there during the construction phase of the complex lending a helping hand and watching the progress. His presence at all of the sporting events will be greatly missed. Keith is survived by his mother AliceWhitaker and her husband James of Donalsonville, GA; a sister, Beth Townsend and her husband Larry and two nephews Blake Townsend and Brett Townsend all of Eufaula, AL. As well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Coy Medley,and a brother Mark Medley. Active casketbearers will be Larry Townsend, Blake Townsend, Brett Townsend, Herman Enfinger, Nate Martin, Brad Bell, Dillon Smith and Scott Smith Honorary casketbears will be Carey Moye, Wendall Jordon, Coaches, Parents and Children of High School teams and Seminole County Recreation Department. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
