WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF MRS. ANNA ELIZABETH "MA" TEDDER, AGE 98, OF DONALSONVILLE, GA, WHO PASSED AWAY TUESDAY MORNING, NOV. 7, 2006 AT THE DONALSONVILLE HOSPITAL. FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. TEDDER WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, NOV. 8, 2006 AT 11:00 AM AT ROCKY RIDGE BAPTIST CHURCH WITH THE REV. JACK RINKS OFFICIATING. INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW IN FRIENDSHIP CEMETERY IN DONALSONVILLE, GA. VISITATION WILL BE HELD FROM 10:00-11:00 AM AT THE CHURCH. MRS. TEDDER WAS BORN IN BLAKELY, GA ON JUNE 13, 1908 TO THE LATE MAC AND MABLE RISH COBB. SHE WAS A HOMEMAKER AND ACTIVE MEMBER OF ROCKY RIDGE BAPTIST CHURCH FOR AS LONG AS HER HEALTH WOULD ALLOW. SHE TAUGHT SUNDAY SCHOOL AND PLAYED THE PIANO AT ROCKY RIDGE FOR MANY YEARS, AS WELL AS BEING THE PIANIST FOR THE ROCKY RIDGE QUARTET FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. "MA" TEDDER, AS SHE WAS AFFECTIONATELY CALLED, LEAVES TO CHERISH HER MEMORY, A DAUGHTER, JEAN MOSELY OF DONALSONVILLE, GA; TWO SONS, CLARENCE TEDDER,JR. AND HIS WIFE KATIE OF DONALSONVILLE, GA AND MAC TEDDER AND HIS WIFE ORITA OF JAKIN, GA; AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, MARGARET TEDDER OF DONALSONVILLE, GA. 12 GRANDCHILDREN, 23 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, AND 7 GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AS WELL AS SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS ALSO SURVIVE. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, HER HUSBAND, HUGH CLARENCE TEDDER, SR., A SON, GAYNOR TEDDER AND A DAUGHTER, BETTY EVANS. PALLBEARERS WILL BE MARK HAWKINS, KENNETH MASSEY, KEITH BOWEN, EMERSON SKIPPER, RALPH GLASS, AND DON HARRISON. THE SENIOR ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS OF ROCKY RIDGE BAPTIST CHURCH WILL SERVE AS HONORARY PALLBEARERS.
