We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Carlton Bert Ingram, age 69, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 in Spring Hill, TN. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM at New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Ingram was born in Decatur County, GA on October 20, 1940 to the late Willie Thomas and Erma Ragan Ingram. He was a member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church and worked as a mechanic at Georgia Pacific until he retired June 1, 1999. He also served in the National Guard. Mr. Ingram enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends. He is survived by his wife, Elouise Ingram of Donalsonville, GA; two daughters, Amy Miller and her husband John of Spring Hill, TN and Tammy Ingram of Charleston, SC; one brother, Clarence Ingram and his wife Teri of Jonesboro, GA; one sister, Sybil Mosely and her husband Jesse of Iron City, GA and one grandchild, Shiloh Miller. He was preceded in death by by his parents Willie Thomas and Erma Ragan Ingram and one brother, Billy Joe Ingram. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
