JIMMY PERRY

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Jimmy Harrison Perry, age 79, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home at 2:00 PM in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Military honors will be held by the U. S. Navy with interment to follow in Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Perry was born in Donalsonville, GA on October 11, 1930 to the late Fred and Vivian Harrell Perry. He attended Spring Creek Baptist Church and was retired from the U. S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Faircloth Perry of Donalsonville, GA; two daughters, Latrisa and LeRoy Roberts of Donalsonville, GA, and Helen Perry of Bloomington, IN. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Cody and Shannon Roberts of Donalsonville, GA, Jessica Roberts and her fiancé Allan Crum of Donalsonville, GA, and Brandi Roland of MS; and a great grandchild, Hillary Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Vivian Harrell Perry; and a son Alex Califf. Casketbearers will be Gary Perry, Mike Perry, Allan Crum, and Cody Roberts. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
