ETHELEEN WHITAKER AUBREY

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Etheleen Aubrey, age 80, of Doanlsonville, GA who passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Donalsonville First Assembly of God Church in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Assembly of God Church Cemetery in Brinson, GA. Mrs. Aubrey was born in Owensboro, KY on December 28, 1929 to the late Thurman and Jessie Lee Moris Whitaker. She was a homemaker and worked for GE where she built parts for TV tubes in Kentucky. She is survived by a son, William T. Aubrey, Sr. and his wife Lana of Rincon, GA; a daughter, Shirley Doyle and her husband George of Donalsonville, GA; and a sister-in-law, Hazel Whitaker of Mobile, AL. She is also survived by six grandchildern, fourteen great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman and Jessie Lee Moris Whitaker; her husband, William Earl Aubrey; and her brothers, Bobby Whitaker, Jimmy Whitaker, Charles Whitaker, Bill Whitaker, and Paul Whitaker.. Casketbearers will be Jimmy Doyle, Billy Aubrey, Allen Myers, Jamie Myers, Heath Harrison, and Derick Bradford.
