We regret to announce the passing of Miss Rebecca Jill Hatcher, age 37, of Brinson, GA who passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Iron City Baptist Church in Iron City, GA with Rev. Gary Aslin and Rev. Robert Chancey officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA. Visitation will be held Friday, August 13, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Hatcher and Norma Sanders Rentz. She was a member of Iron City Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She is survived by her father; James L. and Sue Hatcher of Perry, FL; her mother, Norma and Don Rentz of Brinson, GA; a brother, Jeff Hatcher of Brinson, GA; sisters; Jana and Michael Powell of Brinson, GA; Amy and Hank Bagwell of Iron City, GA; Alison Rentz of Brinson, GA and Linnie Sue Devane and Scott of Texas; maternal grandmother, Lucille Sanders of Iron City, GA; and her nieces and nephews; Scott Hatcher, Morgan Giannars, Shelby Bagwell, Trace Bagwell, Savannah Powell and Logan Powell. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, R. J. Sanders, and her paternal grandparents, Leo and Hilliard Hatcher. Casketbearers will be Hank Bagwell, Michael Powell, Thomas Sanders, Chris Sanders, Scott Spooner and Drew Bloodworth. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
