We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Mathis, age 49, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Cramer officiating and Kim Revels giving the eulogy. Visitation will be held Friday, July 30 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Bascom, FL. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Hudson of Donalsonville, GA and Chris Anderson of Malone, FL; two step-sons, Raymond Mathis and Reuben Mathis of Donalsonville, GA; three daughters, Latrinna Lisenby and her husband Paul of Jakin, GA; Elizabeth Hudson of Bascom, FL and Tracy Walker of Malone, FL; special friends Jody Day of Donalsonville and Rita Phillips and Rebecca Woods of Donalsonville, GA; one brother, James Hartzog of Donalsonville; one sister, Betty Hudson and her husband Tommy of Donalsonville; grandchildren, Trisha Franklin, Richard Franklin, Anthony Franklin, Pace’Hudson, Brad Synder, Gavin Hunter, Danyelle White, Dominque Daniels, Da’Nyia Daniels, Da’Leigha Daniels, Alana Pritchett and Kayla Walden. She is also survived by one great grandchild, Jakob Lee as well as other close friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Gertrude Hartzog. Active casketbearers will be Chris Anderson, Danny Hall, Ray Revels, Daniel Jenkins, Willie Daniels and Jamie Hartzog. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
