LAJOY HAGLER

January 2, 1945 — July 17, 2010

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Walker Lajoy Hagler, age 65, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Saturday morning, July 17, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Hagler will be held on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough and Rev. Richard Trawick officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Hagler was born in Barbour Co., AL on January 2, 1945 to the late C.W. Hagler and Juanita Kelly Hagler. He was a general contractor, but his favorite work was outside in the garden. Mr. Hagler was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Hagler leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Edna Harrison Hagler of Donalsonville, GA; his mother, Juanita Hagler of Donalsonville, GA; a son, Michael Hagler and his wife Jennifer of Donalsonville, GA; two daughters, Ramona Houston and her husband Steve of Donalsonville, GA and Sandy Hutcheson and her husband Greg of Dothan, AL; a brother, Pat Hagler and his wife Debbie of Woodstock, GA; and a sister, Shirley Keaton and her husband Steve of Sylvester, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Terri Money, Kelli Money, Cody Houston, Matthew Houston, Lily Houston, Bonnie Jean Houston, Walker Lajoy Hagler II, Joe Moore, and Hannah Fortner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Active casketbearers will be Cody Houston, Matthew Houston, Walker Lajoy Hagler II, Joseph Moore, Trent Harrison, Greg Hutcheson, and Richard Duke.
