We regret to announce the passing of David Earl Phillips, age 48, of Colquitt, Ga who passed away on Friday, October 13, 2006, at the Miller County Hospital in Colquitt. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2006, at Corinth Freewill Baptist Chutch Cemetery in Iron City, GA. with Rev. Tim Bell officiating. He worked in the construction industry as a general laborer and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his mother and step-father Marvin Jones of Eldorenda, Ga; four brothers; Marlis Eugene and Laverne Phillips of Donalsonville, GA; James Roy and Janice Phillips of Bainbridge, Ga and Curtis Phillips of Colquitt, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
