WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF MR. THOMAS WHATLEY, AGE 63, OF KATHLEEN, GA WHO PASSED AWAY WEDNESDAY, OCT. 4,2006 AT THE MEDICAL CENTER OF CENTRAL GEORGIA. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7,2006 AT 11:00 AM FROM THE CHAPEL OF EVANS-SKIPPER FUNERAL HOME WITH INTERMENT IN HEBREW FREEWILL BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY IN DONALSONVILLE, GA. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY EVENING, OCTOBER 6, 2006 FROM 7:00-9:00 PM AT THE CHAPEL OF EVANS-SKIPPER FUNERAL HOME. Mr. Whatley was born in Donalsonville, GA to the late Mitchell and Margaret Dykes Whatley on October 8, 1942. He served his country in the Air Force and was employed with the Civil Service. Mr. Whatley leaves to cherish his memory his wife Opal Alday Whatley of Kathleen, GA; one son, Adrian Lance Whatley of Kathleen, GA; one daughter, Kimberlee Hope Whatley of Kathleen, GA; two brothers, Charles Whatley of Tallahassee,FL and Danny Whatley of Bainbridge, GA; one sister, Alice Womble of Jakin, GA; and one grandson, Gabriel Whatley of Kathleen, GA. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alberta Wilhoft and Jeanette Whatley. Pallbearers will be Bill Cox, Jason McGrath, Jeff Croom, Mickey Whatley, Danny Whatley, Jr. and Tony Morris. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
