LINDA SWANNER VICKERS

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Linda Swanner Vickers, age 67, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital. A Memorial Service service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Vickers was born in Donalsonville, GA on February 21, 1943 to the late James Colon and Deliah Glisson Swanner. She graduated from Seminole County High School in 1961 worked as a system analyisist for the telephone company. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Vickers of Donalsonville, GA; son, Bruce Bullock and his wife Pam of Donalsonville, GA; daughters, Gina McCracken and her husband Tracy of Dothan; Cindy Thomas and her husband Todd of Donalsonville, GA; Caroline Holtz and Marla Layton; brother, Ladon Swanner, Sr and his wife Jessie Lou of Colquitt, GA. She is also survived by grandchildren, Trevor McCracken, Ethan Bullock, Skye Thomas, Tiffany Thomas and Mason Holtz. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Colon and Deliah Glisson Swanner; brother, Colon Swanner and grandson, Benjamin Eric Bullock.
