We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Eddie Glynn McCalvin, age 66, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at his residence. A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010, at 1:00 PM at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA with Rev. Kip Boswell officiating. You may visit our website at www.evansskipperfh.com and sign the online guest book. Mr. McCalvin was born in Donalsonville, GA on July 30, 1943 to the late Clarence B. and Annie Roberts McCalvin. He attended school in Seminole County and worked with several farmers in the community. He is survived by his sister, Donna McCalvin Watt and her husband David of Simpsonville, SC; brother, Mitchell McCalvin of Tacoma, WA; sister-in-law, Pat Erickson of Panama City Beach, FL; nephews and nieces Russell McCalvin, Stephen McCalvin and his wife Kelly, Starlia Blackman all of Panama City Beach, FL; Sally Marx and her husband Adam, Jennifer Dunbar and her husband Steve of Tacoma, WA as well as several Great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence B. and Annie Roberts McCalvin, and a brother, Collis McCalvin. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
