Annie "Tina" Grant

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Annie M. "Tina" Grant, age 88, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Monday, May 24, 2010 at the Donalsonville Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA with Rev. Rollin Rathel officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 26 from 1:00-1:45 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Grant was born in Donalsonville, GA on December 25, 1921 to the late Asbery and Bertha Lewis Moore. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church and will be remembered as working as a nurse at the Seminole Memorial Hospital. She is survived by a daughter, LaVerne Holman; a sister, Louise Alday; a grandson, Bruce Holman and his wife Clarice all of Iron City, GA;. Step Grandson Billy Cherry and his wife Barbara of Donalsonville, GA. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Billy J. Cherry, III, Angela Cherry, Stephen Cherry, Matthew Cherry and Willie Cherry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Asbery and Bertha Lewis Moore; her husband, Fred Grant; brother, Foy Moore and sister, Fosteen Alday. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
