We regret to announce the passing of Michael E. Sheffield, age 48, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at New Hope Worship Assembly in Donalsonville, GA with Pastor Tony Buczek officiating. Michael was born in Donalsonville, GA on July 14, 1961 to the late Earnest and Mary Jeanette Whatley Sheffield. He attended Seminole County High School and worked in the seafood department at Publix. He was a member of New Hope Worship Assembly, a member of New Hope Worship Team and was involved with the children’s baseball programs. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Sheffield, two sons, Tommy and Mitchell Sheffield; four daughters Tamara Sheffield, Tiffany Sheffield and her husband Freddy Fargas and Rebecca Sheffield all of Donalsonville, GA; Magen Greene and her husband Joshua of Crawford, FL; two brothers, Buster Sheffield and his wife Teri of Jacksonville, FL; Joe Sheffield of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Angie Hand Bracero of Jacksonville, FL and Debbie Ann Parker and her husband Doug of Tallahassee, FL. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Tommy, Jospeh, Kayla, Neal and Carlos. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Mary Jeanette Whatley Sheffield. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
