We regret to announce the passing of Johnny Wayne Hurley, age 63, of Colquitt, GA who passed away at his residence on August 31, 2006. Funeral services for Mr. Hurley will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2006 , at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Eric Boomer and Elder Ross Plowden officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Pond/Olive Grove Primative Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Hurley was born on September 9, 1942 to the late John Hurley and Grace Askew Hurley. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and attended the Rock Pond/Olive Grove Primative Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Marti Gail Holley Hurley of Colquitt, GA; his mother Grace Hurley of Iron City, GA; one son, Buddy and Mary Hurley of Colquitt, GA; one daughter, Tessie and Lamar Temples of Iron City, GA; one brother, Buster Hurley of Iron City, GA and one sister, Gloria Black Joyce of Macon Ga. He is also survived by grandchildren Lee and Ryan Temples; special surrogate grans Joe Barber, Julia Kimmins and Jay Kimmins. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Pallbearers will be John Hurley, Tony Black, Todd Dunn, Jeremy Holley, Benny Kimmins and Jackie Hughes. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Vorse, Joe Barber, Pee Wee Hughes, Brad Bell, Tim Gibson and Ricky Gibson. Evans-Skipper Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
