BEULAH GRACE BRACKIN

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Beulah Grace Brackin, age 79, of Brinson, GA who passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Brackin will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at 11:00 AM at New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City, GA with Rev. Joe Murkerson and Rev. Talmadge Worsley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, April 21, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Brackin was born in Miller County, GA on November 12, 1930 to the late Early Frank and Minnie Lee Shores Braswell. She attended New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 60 years, Wyatt Brackin of Seminole County, GA, four sons, Keith Brackin of Brinson, GA, Phil Brackin and his wife Vickie of Bainbridge, GA, Ray Brackin and his wife Joy of Seminole County, GA, and Tim Brackin and his wife Lujane of Seminole County, GA; a daughter, Janet Whittaker and her husband Steve of Donalsonville, GA; and a sister, Joyce Fields and her husband Bill of Seminole County, GA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Lyle Brackin, Katina Kirkland, Kelli Owen, Lauren Pearce, Gaines Pearce, Melissa Brackin, Priscilla Whittaker, Donnie Spooner, Stephanie Pippins, Jamie Marshburn, Jennifer Landrum, and Dustin Whittaker, as well as, 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Early Frank and Minnie Lee Shores Braswell; one sister, Annette Herring; and one grandson, Austin Brackin. Active casketbearers will be Ricky Smith, Michael Kirkland, Glenn Earnest,Yancy Trawick, Mac Harrison, and Eddie Miller, Jr. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
