Robert "Bob" Ward

We regret to announce the passing of Robert B. "Bob" Ward, age 81, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Monday, August 21, 2006 at his residence. Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Luther Hastey officiating. You may share your thoughts with the family by visiting our website at www.evansskipperfh.com. Mr. Ward was born in Early County, GA on October 13, 1924 to the late Percy and Mable Kinley Ward. He served his country in the U S Army during World War II. He was a building contractor and was married to Mizelle Hopkins Ward who preceded him in death in April 1999. He attended the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville. He is survived by two daughters, Karen Inman and her husband Joel and Laura Hardy and her husband Dana all of Atlanta, GA. Also surviving is one granddaughter, Claire Ward Hardy of Atlanta, GA. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice 432 East Shotwell St., Bainbridge, GA 39817.
