We regret to announce the passing of Winifred Tucker White, age 89, of Donalsonville who passed away Thursday, August 10, 2006 in the Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Spring Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Dean and Bobby Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, August 11, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA You may share your thoughts with the family by visiting our website at www. evansskipperfh.com. Mrs. White was born Decatur County, GA on October 23, 1916 to the late Howel and Ida Morris Tucker. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church, worked at Dickie Manufacturing Co in Bainbridge and was a homemaker. She was married to Woodrow White, who preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, Jerry White of Donalsonville; two daughters, Nira Jean Glisson and her husband Bill of Donalsonville and Delores Bevels and her husband Mickey of Poulan, GA; two brothers, Marvin Tucker and his wife Betty of Donalsonville and Cary Tucker of Niceville, FL; one sister Olene Berkshier of Peoria, IL She was also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Her parents, her husband, two daughters, Janice Smith and Barbara Eubanks, one sister, Melba Tucker and five brothers,Sydney Tucker, Joe Tucker, Alvis Tucker, Roy Tucker and Marion Tucker preceded her in death. Pallbearers will be Michael Bevel, Alan White, Glen Glisson, Greg Eubanks, Ward Eubanks, Tucker Smith and Tracy Smith. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
