JOYCE ANN SMITH SEXTON CARDINAL

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Joyce Ann Smith Sexton Cardinal, age 60, of Iron City, GA who passed away Monday, February 1, 2010 at Miller County Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Glover officiating. Mrs. Cardinal was born in Orlando, FL on April 30, 1949 to Doris Servis Smith and the late Coley Morrel Smith. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a cashier. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Michael Sexton of Crystal River, FL; a daughter, Gloria Wallen of Batesburg, SC; her mother, Doris Servis Smith Greer; a brother, Ronald Smith of Orlando, FL; three sisters, Louise Kelly and her husband Donnie Ray of Iron City, GA, Donna Pollock and her husband Larry of Iron City, GA, and Charlene Gorman and her husband Robert of Stuart, FL; and five grandchildren, James Wallen, Jr., Marshall Wallen, Hunter Sexton, Holly Sexton, and Nathan Lewis. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Coley Morrel Smith and a brother, Elmer "Butch" Greer. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
