We regret to announce the passing of Allie Parker Maxwell, age 83, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at the Miller County Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 7 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Barineau officiating. Interment will follow at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 6, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Maxwell was born in Seminole County on September 1, 1922 to the late Ben and Hortense Hardwick Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband Jefferson Davis Maxwell, Sr. She worked in the hospital and during her later years as a private duty nurse. She is survived by two sons Jeff Maxwell and his wife Bessie and Bobby Maxwell all of Donalsonville, GA. One brother, William Parker and his wife Mildred of Homeland, FL. and one sister, Mary Blevins of Lakeland, FL. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Her parents, her husband, one son Donald Davidson Maxwell, and two brothers, Buddy Parker and Grady Parker preceded her in death. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
