BOBBY GARNETT EDWARDS, SR.

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Bobby Garnett Edwards, Sr., age 73, of Jakin, GA who passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2009 at Springfield Baptist Church at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Danny Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Mr. Edwards was born in Nashville, TN on April 12, 1936 to the late Mallory and Alice Teasely Edwards. He had worked as a contractor as well as in a fiberglass factory. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Bobby Garnett Edwards, Jr. of Jakin, GA; a brother, Claude Reansoner of Hendersonville, TN; his sister, Bettie Jo Revells of Jakin, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mallory and Alice Teasely Edwards and a brother, Willard "Jack" Edwards. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
