DEBRA BUSH ROSS

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Debra Rene Ross, age 54, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Charles Dennis, Rev. Donna Sue Roberts and Rev. Kirk Loyless officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, Nov. 29, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Ross was born in Albany, GA on April 21, 1955 to the late Broughton and LaVerne Brooks Bush. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Lemuel Ross of Donalsonville, GA; two sons, Edwin Ross and his wife Tiffany and Jeffrey Ross and his fiancee Jennifer Carr all of Donalsonville, GA; a daughter, LeAnne Ross of Donalsonville, GA; five grandchildren, Erin Ross, Carter Ross, John Ross Hines, Kaitlyn Ross, and Carson Ross. She is also survived by one sister, Donna Taylor and her husband Frankie of Donalsonville, GA; her sister-at-heart, Becky Newberry and her husband Ted of Donalsonville, GA; and her close and faithful companion, Zulu. She was preceded in death by her parents, Broughton and LaVerne Brooks Bush. Active casketbearers will be Larry Phillips, Kevin Lewis, Mike Spooner, Calvin Atkinson, Jr., Ted Newberry, and Brian Kelly.. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to Five Star Credit Union in Donalsonville, where a scholarship fund will be set up for her children and grandchildren. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
