RUPERT ALAN "BO" SHEFFIELD

Rupert Alan “Bo” Sheffield, age 61, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 4, 2018 at his residence. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, Feb. 12, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Mr. Sheffield was born in Donalsonville, GA on July 16, 1956 to Charlie Wilton Sheffield and Mercedes Thompson Sheffield. He was a welder and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Sheffield enjoyed motorcross, drag racing, and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking and watching Nascar, but probably his biggest passion was running “Big Doc’s”. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Mercedes Nicole Sheffield of Bainbridge, GA; his sister, Suellen Belcher of California;his nieces and nephews, Melissa, Eleanor and Phillip Mizell; his cousins, Gayle Sheffield Floyd and Benji, Pebe Touchton and Spence, Christa Strickland and Michael and Robyn Sheffield, as well as numerous other cousins. Mr. Sheffield was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles Wilton “Brother” Sheffield. Arrangements entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
