RAMONA KAY FINCHER SHIVER

Ramona Kay Fincher Shiver, age 73, of Jakin, GA passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. The family does not plan a service at this time; however, they will receive friends on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 12 noon at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Ms. Shiver was born in Moultrie, GA on August 9, 1944 to William and Mattie Ruth Stevens Fincher. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and a homemaker. Ms. Shiver loved to fish, listen to gospel and country music, and spend time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, James Scott Shiver and his wife Teresa Marie of Rossville, GA and Rajeana Alday Lamb of Thomasville, GA; her soulmate, Clint Beasley of Gordon, AL; her grandchildren, Ryan Edward Ross of Texas, James Ethan Shiver of Rossville, GA, Marisanne Grace Hibbs of Chattanooga, TN, John Anthony Shiver of Rossville, GA, Benjamin Crawford Alday of Thomasville, GA, Andrew Kenneth Alday of Thomasville, GA, and Taylor Marie Johnson of Rossville, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Shiver was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mattie Ruth Stevens Fincher; her husband, Virgil Eugene Shiver, her brother, William Fincher, and her sister, Faye Tucker.
