We regret to announce the passing of Alta Ruth Honeycutt Toole Christmas, age 85, of Forsyth, GA and formerly of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Friday, June 2, 2006 at the Forsyth Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 4, 2006 at 4:30 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Rollin Rathel officiating. Interment will follow at the Olive Grove/Rock Pond Cemetery in Iron City, GA. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 3, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville. Mrs. Christmas was born in Helena, AL on April 23, 1921, the youngest of eight children of the late Jesse Jackson and Buna Vista Anne Keller Honeycutt. She was a resident of Donalsonville for over fifty years, and a member of Donalsonville First Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Earnest Toole and Hollis Christmas, and a daughter Lavada Jean Toole. She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Anne Toole Pitts and her husband James R. of Juliette, GA and Mary Katherine Toole Revells and her husband Eddie C. of Dothan, AL. One stepson, Doug Christmas and his wife Arlene of Sequin, TX. Grandchildren, Cynthia Anne Darley and her husband Robert R. of Odum, GA; Vicky Lynn Darley of Savannah, GA; Donna Marie Revells Smith and her husband Thomas E. of Dothan, AL; Sandra Denise Revells, Blakely, GA; Patricia Diane Revells, Dothan, AL; Step Grandson, J. Gordon Pitts, Navarre, FL; Great Grandchildren, Elizabeth Russell, Rachael Russell, Jennifer Wickliff, Dillion Revells, Ashleigh McPherson, Timothy Smith and Dakota Revells. Also surviving are numerous Sister-in-Laws, Brother-in-Laws, Nieces and Nephews.
