EVELYN H. KIRKSEY

Evelyn Holley Kirksey, age 88, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday September 5, 2017 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her family and friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Kirksey will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11 am at the Donalsonville First Church of the Nazarene with the internment to follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10 am at the church. Mrs. Kirksey was born on November 10, 1928 in Georgia to Albert T. and Flossie Guy Adams. She was married to M.G. Holley of Donalsonville, GA for 33 years and was blessed with 4 children. After his passing, She was blessed to be married again for 18 years to W.E. Kirksey and gained two more lovely daughters. She was a member of the Donalsonville First Church of the Nazarene and also attended Hebrew Free Will Baptist Church. She was survived by her children, Diane Vorse of Leesburg, GA, Jerry Holley of Donalsonville, GA, Doris (Becky) Faircloth of Donalsonville, GA, Dale Lambert of Plant City, FL and Kathy Gardner of Bainbridge, GA, all her grandchildren and great grandchildren and her niece and sister in law Betty Neal Holley, and many nephews and nieces.. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, her loving husbands and her oldest daughter, Marti Gail Hurley.
