James Hilton "Bo" Richter, age 72, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday evening, August 16, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee, FL. Funeral services for Mr. Richter will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Zeth Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Jehu Cemetery in Wewahitchka, FL with Rev. Glen Davis officiating. Casketbearers will be Henry Jackson, Daniel Partridge, Curtis Dempsey, Wayne Weeks, Rusty Bradley, and Bill Crosby. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening, August 19, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Richter was born in Kynesville, FL on July 25, 1945 to WL Richter and Lillie Mae Haddock Richter. He served his country in the United States Army before working with GA Pacific as a power boiler operator. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Richter loved running dogs and was an expert dog trainer. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 45 years, Sue McCormick Richter of Donalsonville, GA; his son, Brad Richter and his wife Tammy of Dothan, AL; and his sister, Louise Richards and her husband Ward of Valdosta, GA. Mr. Richter was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lillie Mae Richter and his brother, John R.
