CAROL ADDISON

Carol Ann Ryan Addison, age 78, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday evening, July 19, 2017 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Bryan Hatchett and Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Ms. Addison was born in Petosky, Michigan on July 25, 1938 to Charles Ryan and Marcella Burman Ryan. She was a homemaker and member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. Ms. Addison was very active in the Lake Seminole Lions Club and instrumental in bringing the annual 4th of July fireworks program to the lake area. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Chuck Addison of Donalsonville, GA and Jim Addison and his wife Ruby of Milledgeville, GA; her daughter, Marie Barnes of Fitzgerald, GA; and her sister, Pat Ryan of California. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lacey Addison Pieczarka and her husband Micah of Havana, FL, Jessica Addison of Bainbridge, GA, Scott Addison of Bainbridge, GA, and Summer Addison of Minerva, OH; as well as a niece, Erica Ryan and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Ms. Addison was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Ryan and Marcella Ryan; her husband, Leon Addison; a sister, Barbara Jean Ryan Chastain; and a son, Scott Addison.
