MARY DANIELS

Mary Gordon Ivey Daniels, age 84, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Thursday evening, June 8, 2017 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mrs. Daniels will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 4:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Worsley officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, June 9, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Daniels was born in Donalsonville, GA on January 19, 1933 to Gordon Ivey and Louise Miller Ivey. She was a bookkeeper/homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Donalsonville, GA. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Geneen Mote and husband Buddy of Iron City, GA and Lisa Spooner and husband Andy of Colquitt, GA; two stepsons, Joey Daniels of Bainbridge, GA and Scott Daniels of Tallahassee, FL; a stepdaughter, Sherry Daniels of Cairo, GA; a brother, Jack Ivey of Donalsonville, GA and two sisters, Lucy Brock and husband Steve of Donalsonville, GA and Sherry Peace and husband Anthony of Donalsonville, GA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nepehws. Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Ivey and Louise Miller Brook; a son, Ricky Christmas; a stepdaughter, Vicky Williams; as well as several siblings.
