Evitus Earl “E.E.” Money, age 91, of Donalsonville, GA formerly of Gordon, AL passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017. Mr. Money was born in Kinsey, AL on July 19, 1925 to John Cash Money and Sarah Elizabeth Kirkland Money. He served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Money was a farmer and Chairman of the Alabama Farm Movement during the Carter Administration and traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with President Carter in 1980. He was active in local politics. Mr. Money was a member of Bethlehem Assembly of God Church in Gordon, AL where he served as a church deacon, music director, Sunday school teacher, and Sunday school superintendent. Mr. Money is survived by his children, John Money and his wife Virginia of Gordon, AL, Carol Prevatt and her husband Timothy of Avon, AL, Gracie Luster of Pansey, AL, and Earlene Bramlett and her husband William of Donalsonville, GA; his sister, Sarah Shiver of Dothan, AL; and his brother, James Money of Plant City, FL. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Cash Money and Sarah Elizabeth Kirkland Money; and his wife, Lessie Mae Harper Money; and a son-in-law, Johnny Luster.
