Faye Brimlow Faircloth, age 93, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Saturday morning, April 22, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Faircloth will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Oakview Church of God with Rev. Johnny Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery with Willard Mims, Leroy Starling, Bruce Phillips, Jimmy Hornsby, Scott Brimlow, and Carl Kressman serving as active casketbearers. Ricky Coachman will serve as a honorary casketbearer. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday evening, April 25, 2017 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Faircloth was born in Brannon Stand, AL on Dec. 23, 1923 to John Maynor Brimlow and Fannie Ethel Lewis Brimlow. She was a homemaker and retired farmer. For many years, she was a member of the Jubilees Club of Donalsonville. She was also a member of a group of women who met monthly “crafting” their beautiful works of decorations for their homes and their family. Her family has been blessed with her artistic ability that includes: painting, quilting, crocheting, and writing. Forever, planted in the hearts of many will be her love for cooking and serving meals to family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Martha Bush and husband Glen; her grandchildren, Crystal Breaux and husband Tim and Heather Frierson and husband Hoit; as well as her great grandchildren, Hannah Breaux, Zach Breaux, Hadley Frierson, and Hope Frierson. Mrs. Faircloth was preceded in death by her parents, John Maynor Brimlow and Fannie Ethel Lewis Brimlow; her husband, Roy Faircloth; her brothers, Irby Brimlow, Bernice Brimlow, Alvis Brimlow, and Robert Brimlow; and her sisters, Jewel Wright and Gladys Cobia.
